Kilo Cloud Agents Add GitHub Authorship, Profiles & Remote Sessions
Chapters / key moments (click to jump — plays here on the page)
Kilo Code's cloud agents let you run Kilo without a local machine — you spin one up from the web or trigger it with webhooks, and it works in an isolated container while you do other things. This update makes them more personal, configurable, and connected: commits and PRs the agent opens are authored by your GitHub account, reusable profiles bundle the environment a session needs, PR status shows up in the dashboard, and remote sessions sync your local CLI to the web live.

Key Takeaways
- Your-account GitHub authorship: connect your personal GitHub and every commit and PR the agent opens is authored by you, with the Kilo bot as co-author — so your contribution graph fills in, code owners get pinged, and reviewers see who's responsible.
- Profiles: a profile bundles the environment variables, secrets, and setup commands a session needs — and now your custom agents and skills too — so new sessions boot with your modes and preferences already loaded.
- Per-repo default profile: pin a default profile to each repo and cloud agents grab the right environment on their own when you start a new session.
- In-dashboard PR status: when an agent opens a PR, its status appears next to the session and a button jumps you straight to it — no leaving the dashboard.
- Remote sessions: turn on remote mode in the CLI and your local sessions appear live in the web dashboard next to your cloud ones, syncing in real time — start on your laptop, pick up in the web exactly where you left off.
