OpenAI's New Codex "OpenAI Developers" Plugin, Explained

Julian Goldie's avatar walks through a new "OpenAI Developers" plugin for Codex: install it from the plugins area, start a thread, and prompt something like "Build me a simple AI content tool using the OpenAI Responses API." The plugin connects Codex to the OpenAI platform, helps create and wire API keys, scaffolds apps with the Responses API and Agents SDK, and — its most useful pitch — reads OpenAI errors and explains the fix in plain language (e.g. "debug this OpenAI error and tell me what's wrong"). Note: much of the video is promotion for a paid community, so treat the framing accordingly; the concrete takeaway is the install-and-prompt workflow and the built-in error debugging.
